I quit newborn photography a few years ago after trying all of the cute newborn poses. I felt defeated that my images weren’t giving me those butterflies or making me feel something. Being a former OB nurse, babies have always been my passion. The bond between a mother and infant from the moment she is pregnant has always captivated me. The love is one of the most beautiful things on earth to not only witness but to photograph so it hit me…..I’ve been doing it wrong….I need to photograph a newborn as a newborn is, naturally at home, with family being snuggled, and doted on. I need to tell the story of the new bond created between all and the new love exuding from the family. My newborn sessions are just that…relaxed and guided so it takes the stress out of it all. Being unposed, it also eliminates the need for baby to be 10 days or less which allows you time to adapt and treasure your first week or so at home. Contact me today to schedule your newborn session!
